In the Spring of 2019, Peter Guman attended a Photo Essay workshop given by two club members, Stephen Williams and Ted Goldman.  The workshop set him off on a whole new journey for his photography and one that occupies most of his work to this day – a journey he found transforming and healing.  In this session, he outlined some basics of the photo essay, along with discussing his workshop project, Ink Stories.  Understanding how stories connect to photographs can be something to use in whatever type of photography you do, including portraits, macro, landscapes or wildlife.
