MEETING NOTES - JANUARY 23, 2019

Choir Room ~ Westminster Presbyterian Church

Meeting ~ Howard Sundwall called the meeting to order.  Howard asked everyone to please silence their cell phones.

Visitors ~ There was 1 new visitor/member at tonight’s meeting.

New arrangement in meeting room ~ Howard Sundwall told the group that the chairs in the choir room were repositioned for better screen viewing.  If members still have difficulty seeing the screen, please let Howard know.

Members Forum ~ Anita Bower told the audience that the next Member’s Forum will highlight Elements of Portraiture & Natural Lighting.  Ginia Apostolacus will be the next speaker.

Outings ~ Dean Grantham ~ reminded the members that the next club outing will take place on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM ~ Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex - Harrisburg ~ If you haven’t done so already, please let Dean know if you plan to go and what mode of transportation you will be taking.  Jim Wilson is organizing car pooling; Dean Grantham is organizing travel by Amtrak.

Tonight’s speaker ~ Bob Kelly reminded the members that the February competition theme is “Landscapes in the Style of Pictorialism”.  He suggested that members should refer to the CCCC website for a better understanding of Pictorialism.  The judge who was scheduled to judge the competition was unable to be at the meeting due to illness.  Therefore, Helen Wagner, Matt Keller & Steve Whitney were the judges for the evening.
